Our mission is simple: to bring you the news that matters most, in a language and format that’s easy to understand — whether that’s the latest Portugal, Europe, and world news, or the immigration updates that directly affect your life here, like AIMA residency permits, visa rules, and citizenship law changes.
Why We Started
Moving to a new country comes with enough challenges already — language barriers shouldn’t be one more obstacle standing between you and the information you need. We saw a gap: important news about residency, work permits, social benefits, and daily life in Portugal was rarely available in Punjabi, even though thousands of Punjabi and Indian families call Portugal home today.
Portugal Punjabi Radio was created to close that gap — delivering trustworthy, well-researched news and practical guidance, often in both English and Punjabi, so our community never has to choose between staying informed and staying comfortable in their own language.
